Kate Miller-Heidke's song 'Can't Shake It', from her sophomore album 'Curiouser' has been nominated for an APRA Award in the prestigious Song of the Year category, which is the only peer-voted music award in Australia. Kate Miller-Heidke has just been announced as the grand prize winner of the prestigious "International Songwriting Competition" 2009 (ISC). The winning track was Kate's current single 'Caught In The Crowd' (the 2nd single lifted from her sophomore album "Curiouser"). Picked from over 17,000 entries from right across the world, 'Caught In The Crowd' was co-written with Kate's longtime musical collaborator Keir Nuttall.

After being flooded for over a month by amazing video entries to the national 'Caught In The Crowd' video competition, we are pleased to announce the winning school as Upper Coomera State College in QLD. The school have won a special performance by Kate Miller-Heidke at their school and a Sony Professional Video Hardware package worth $2000.
