Kate Miller-Heidke has just been announced as the grand prize winner of the prestigious "International Songwriting Competition" 2009 (ISC). The winning track was Kate's current single 'Caught In The Crowd' (the 2nd single lifted from her sophomore album "Curiouser"). Picked from over 17,000 entries from right across the world, 'Caught In The Crowd' was co-written with Kate's longtime musical collaborator Keir Nuttall.

After being flooded for over a month by amazing video entries to the national 'Caught In The Crowd' video competition, we are pleased to announce the winning school as Upper Coomera State College in QLD. The school have won a special performance by Kate Miller-Heidke at their school and a Sony Professional Video Hardware package worth $2000.

With her new single 'Caught In The Crowd' at radio Febuary 9th, Kate has now announced a massive national tour to accompany the release. One of the most talked about live acts on the Australian touring circuit at the moment, The 'Caught In the Crowd' tour will see Kate and her band criss cross the country through February / March.

Singer/songwriter writer Kate Miller-Heidke has performed at an historical concert at Angkor Wat temple in Cambodia. Organised by MTV EXIT, it was the first ever rock concert to take place at the ancient temple, and was held to spread awareness of the plight of victims of human trafficking.
